The Absolute State of BlueSky
I am personally on BlueSky. I have been using it myself. I monitor the situation there myself. I even engage in a hostile manner with the industrial saboteurs who are on the platform, and know things. I know what's there. I know what it's doing.
People who call BlueSky an echo chamber are lying, don't use it, and have a vested interest in the platform failing.
People who say BlueSky members aren't there for cats and art want something from you, have porn to sell you, and also have a vested interest in the platform failing.
Some people who've been around a good minute understand what's being done to BlueSky. They're already calling out the fact that bad actors aren't being removed. BlueSky seems to be struggling with this concept. And, if BlueSky doesn't do something about it very soon, it will be destroyed.
My own study of BlueSky agrees. If they don't do something about bad actors soon, they'll be destroyed. The naive little butterfly doesn't understand that competing media organizations and state actors who prefer authoritarian rule are GOING TO attack and destroy anything that tries to be a path for truth to find a way.
It's not about your stupid left/right paradigm, either. That's bread & circus shit. Shut up. It's only about the prevention and denial of a new media path for humans to use while corralling sheep, maggots, garbage, and trash back onto Big Plantations.
Some people simply know this, and they aren't willing to put major investment into a presence on a new platform when they can already see that bad actors are destroying the place without active checks, balances, and being removed.
An example is blocking Israel like Gab does. BlueSky has yet to learn that this is beneficial. And that's just one (1) example. There are very many. As a result, BlueSky is currently enduring a massive attack that they might not even know is an attack.
Look, launching a media site is more complicated than you can understand.
It's all a fascinating domain of human behavior that I chose to start studying a while ago. People who matter have already learned that they need to build, manage, and maintain their own environments. Fewer people who matter rely on "social media" by the day.
X hardest hit. The new policy that X can train their generative AI "Grok" on all users' data combined with fraudulently selling the site as "free speech" has culminated in a Mass Xodus from X to BlueSky. Upon arrival, they discover that BlueSky is doing too little to remove Bad Actors from the community.
Gab.com remains inevitable because all people get elsewhere is insanity - naive and brainwashed people trying the same things over and over while expecting a different result. Andrew Torba broke that cycle. And that won't be fully realized by the mainstream for many years to come.
Additionally, Gab has a community-powered immune system that doesn't tolerate bullshit. Many have learned this over the years. Ask the lead singer of TRAPT, and people like "Bill Mitchell"
So I'll just say it again: Gab is inevitable.
Gab has already won.
I am one of those people that are letting others like you go-to bluesky and report back at how things there are. I have never bought the left right paradigm in regards to social media. It's just my opinion but it's nothing more than a marketing ploy. Saying bluesky is nothing more than a lefty echo chamber is laughable. I remember when Dan Bongo Bongo Bongino said gab was dirty and refused to say why but said gabs ownership had ulterior motives and there was more to it than just a free speech site. Then in his very next breath he started saying his Truth social and Rumble were where you needed to be going for solid information yet he was heavily invested in both of those platforms and still is.
Over the past 8 years I have seen how gab has grown and fought the censorship industry and exposed it. It's been a grind and it's awesome to see how far gab has come. Gab is inevitable!
And gab is soooo much nicer without Bill Mitchell's psyop operation on there anymore. I almost forgot about him to be honest. I loved being a part of pushing him into a hole and forgetting he ever existed.
